Despite the stigma associated with mosquitoes the adult females only drink blood help develop her eggs. At one time 100-300 eggs may be deposited in standing water. After leaving their birth waters mosquitoes rarely venture a mile away so getting rid of any standing water sources is key to curbing their presence. |
